ASG Sensor Academy staff just finished a 3 day training session to FLIR staff out of Wilsonville Oregon. The training on the use of ASG's simulators and software is to be passed on to FLIR's Tunesian Air Force customer upon delivery of their turrets. The training was succesfully concluded by the very proficient FLIR staff members.
CAE aviation in Luxemburg has received it's repaired GIST for continiued training to the Danisch Air Force sensor operators.This particular GIST was the first of its kind and has been in service for over 12 years without any failures.
Safran Electronics & Defense has awarded a contract to ASG to simulate their newest and state of the art electro-optic/infrared Euroflir 410 turret. This will help Safran to better assist their customers with the training of turret operators
ASG Sensor Academy (ASG SA) successfully delivered two EO/IR turret training courses to NPC pilots and sensor operators. The two-day courses were delivered on behalf of NFC, a valued customer and partner specialising in NVG training and products.
ASG Sensor Academy (ASG SA) successfully delivered an ARGOS II EO/IR foundation course to students from the UAE in mid-September at the Hensoldt OPTRONICS campus in Centurion, South Africa. The group of two UAV pilots and four camera operators had a mixed level of experience operating EO/IR sensors.
ASG Sensor Academy (ASG SA), working with 3SDL, recently delivered a bespoke five week ISR operators’ course to aircrew of the NIGERIAN AIR FORCE (NAF) who operate the ATR-42, DA-42 MPP and King Air 350 aircraft. The course was delivered at ASG SA’s training establishment in Wellingore, Lincolnshire, five minutes from RAF Waddington, the UK military’s ‘ISR Hub’.
