The Optical Crew Resource Analyzer (OCRA) is a fully integrated device, allowing the determination and instant correction of the trainee’s scan patterns and focus, by almost seeing through the pilot’s eyes.

Not only during the training will the tool be of significant benefit, but also during the debriefing. The entire training is stored for analysis with the trainee after the training session. As instructor, you can really “show” the trainee what needs improvement.

It features a modular  tailboom with slow spinning tailrotor disk, hot air exhaust and kerosene fume dispenser. A speaker system simulates the engine and rotor noise.
